We have reached the last weekend of the regular season. The goal is to evaluate each team you have at this point for a postseason spot. I have 13 redraft teams this year, and 10 of them have secured their place in the postseason. One of the teams we’ve been following is the only one I have that won’t be moving on, so I’ll wrap that one up. Two teams are still fighting for that postseason berth on this final weekend of play.
Danger Family
This team is ahead by two games heading into the final weekend; however, after dropping two games in week 13 and just needing one more win to secure the league’s best record, that will be the focus. This team has already secured a top-two finish and a first-round bye. I’m really preparing to add another QB to the roster, as Aaron Rodgers seems to have run his course. My immediate plan is to pick up a leftover QB on Wednesday morning, so I can keep my waiver priority intact for the playoffs.
TFFL
This team returned to scoring the most points; however, with a record of 5-8, it is now officially eliminated from the playoffs. The four-game winning streak simply started too late. This week, I play the #1 seed, and I really just want to change where in the bracket that team finishes and push it to the bottom of the bracket. I’d like to finish 6-8 here so I can build on this record. Once this week ends, this team will be pushed to the bottom of the pile, and I’ll get a tee time in this league and wish everyone else well.
Clown Head Redraft I
This team has a 2-game winning streak and is in the #2 spot, gearing up for a first-round bye. I would like to secure a win and close the one-game gap behind the #1 team as we enter play. I do have the league’s most points, even though there isn’t a payout for that. This team seems poised for a playoff run, and I’m excited to see how far it can go.
My focus is actually on the two teams this week that are attempting to clinch, and I also have several other teams in the dynasty universe trying to clinch. I’m making moves based on simply playing the odds. Good luck as you clinch playoff berths.
