6. North Carolina — their lack of interior defense is getting exposed.
7. Pittsburgh — In the middle of a 4-game slide but have plenty of opportunities to right the ship.
8. Florida State — the home victory over Pitt last week is by far their best of the season.
9. Stanford — In any other year, Maxime Raynaud could win ACC POTY.
10. Syracuse — Have been much better with JJ Starling back, but a brutal schedule lies ahead.
11. Notre Dame — Markus Burton and Tae Davis are a great 1-2 punch.
12. Virginia Tech — Their 3-big rotation has turned into one of the best frontcourts in the league
13. Cal — Have to find more scoring out of everyone not named Stojakovic.
14. NC State — Not too late for Kevin Keatts to turn things around
15. Georgia Tech — Have played pretty much to expectation so far.
16. Virginia — Huge win over BC could be a confidence boost
17. Boston College — Might not win another game, but hey, they beat Miami
18. Miami — Have given up at least 78 points in every conference game
