1. Duke —  Elite on both sides of the ball

2. Louisville — Chucky Hepburn is a 1st-team All-ACC lock

3. Clemson — Escaped Pittsburgh with an OT win to remain 3rd in the conference standings.

4. Wake Forest — Hunter Sallis is one of the best two-way guards in the country.

5. SMU — Could be favored to win every game the rest of the season

6. North Carolina — their lack of interior defense is getting exposed.

7. Pittsburgh — In the middle of a 4-game slide but have plenty of opportunities to right the ship.

8. Florida State — the home victory over Pitt last week is by far their best of the season.

9. Stanford — In any other year, Maxime Raynaud could win ACC POTY.

10. Syracuse — Have been much better with JJ Starling back, but a brutal schedule lies ahead.

11. Notre Dame — Markus Burton and Tae Davis are a great 1-2 punch.

12. Virginia Tech — Their 3-big rotation has turned into one of the best frontcourts in the league

13. Cal — Have to find more scoring out of everyone not named Stojakovic.

14. NC State — Not too late for Kevin Keatts to turn things around

15. Georgia Tech — Have played pretty much to expectation so far.

16. Virginia — Huge win over BC could be a confidence boost

17. Boston College — Might not win another game, but hey, they beat Miami

18. Miami — Have given up at least 78 points in every conference game
