College Basketball Transfer Portal Top 500 Rankings, Biggest Winners

Mike expands his College Basketball Transfer Portal Rankings to a top 500!!

TUCSON, ARIZONA - JANUARY 06: Deivon Smith #5 of the Utah Utes attempts a three-point shot over KJ Lewis #5 of the Arizona Wildcats during the second half of the NCAAB game at McKale Center on January 06, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona. Portal season is finally starting to wind down, but we are turning it up here with the unveiling of the Top 500 Transfer Big Board. It seems like a lot, but in reality, over 1,900 Division 1 players hopped into the portal this offseason. Only seven of our Top 50 remain undeclared, as the NBA Combine this week will play a big part in their decisions.

As we do reach the end of the season, let’s look at some of the biggest winners so far this offseason:

College Basketball Transfer Portal Winners
  • St. John’s has clearly charged toward the front of the line by grabbing two of our four best available transfers in the country. The combination of Kadary Richmond and Deivon Smith is down right scary.
  • Indiana is the forgotten “winner” from earlier in the transfer window. There has been some heat around Coach Mike Woodson, but he went out and snagged three of the Top 26 players on the board. The trio of Oumar Ballo, Myles Rice, and Kanaan Carlyle is expected to right the ship in Bloomington.
  • Arkansas and new Coach Calipari have also put together a solid core. They landed our top player, Johnell Davis, to go along with bigs Zvonimir Ivisic and Jonas Aidoo.
  • Finally, the Baylor Bears are showing the quality is sometimes much more important than quality. Coach Scott Drew is bringing in a dynamic duo of Norchad Omier and Jeremy Roach.

Without further ado, here are our rankings in all their glory. 500 of the top Division 1 transfers in the country. Enjoy!
