We are just one round away from the 2025 Stanley Cup Finals, so we decided to take a look at predicting the next 10 Stanley Cup champions starting in 2026:
2026: Dallas Stars

They have a chance to win it this year, although one of the Oilers or Panthers could beat them. Next year is their year.
2027: Los Angeles Kings

The Kings came on strong this season and will continue to get better. They’ll add some offense over the next 2 years and be ready to win it all.
2028: Edmonton Oilers

After losing in 2024 and maybe winning in 2025, the Oilers will take a step back for a couple of seasons but build things back up around McDavid and be back.
2029: Detroit Red Wings

They are building something in Detroit, and in a few years, they will be a force. This original six franchise won’t be held without a Cup for too long.
2030: Edmonton Oilers

Although possible, it’s tough to win in back-to-back years, so after not winning in 2029, the Oilers will win another Cup in 2030.
2031: Chicago Blackhawks

They have a few more years of being bad, but that will lead to them being excellent once again, and 2031 will be when we see it.
2032: Toronto Maple Leafs

The drought will finally end. Auston Matthews will still be captain, and he will raise the Cup.
2033: Boston Bruins

The Bruins are a terrific organization, and you know that they will get back to being a great team once again. After years of being elite, they’ll go through a dry spell, but in 2033, they’ll begin a new reign of terror.
2034: Chicago Blackhawks
The 2031 championship team will still have its core, and they’ll get back to the Cup and win it again.
2035: Seattle Kraken

Not every expansion team can be like Vegas. It can take years and years before they are good, which will be the case for the Kraken, who will win their first Stanley Cup in 2035.
