These are the 10 greatest single game performances by a QB in NFL history:

10. Phil Simms, New York Giants (January 25, 1987)

Simms’ 88% completion rate in Super Bowl XXI helps lead the Giants to a 39-20 victory over the Denver Broncos. Simms had 268 passing yards and 3 TDs and still holds the record for Super Bowl efficiency.

Unitas throws for 349 passing yards and 1 TD to help the Colts win the NFL Championship in what is often referred to as “The Greatest Game Ever Played.”

Vick shows off his dual-threat ability throwing for 333 passing yards and 4 TDs as well as rushing for 80 yards and 2 rushing TDs, giving him 6 total TDs in the game.

Roethlisberger throws for 522 yards and 6 TDs against a solid Colts defense.

Montana goes 22/29 for 297 yards and 5 TDs leading San Francisco to a 55-10 win over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXIV.

4. Matt Flynn, Green Bay Packers (January 1, 2012)

In a meaningless game at the end of the season, Flynn shocked everyone throwing for 480 passing yards and 6 TDs against the Detroit Lions.

Van Brocklin’s 554 passing yards are the most ever in a game. He also threw for 5 TDs.

2. Tom Brady, New England Patriots (February 5, 2017)

Brady leads the Patriots to the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history winning Super Bowl LI 34-28 after throwing for 466 yards and 2 TDs.
