Jerry Jones has been a very unorthodox drafter over the years, often selecting players who were not high on other teams’ draft boards. However, Dallas has also made generational picks in recent years, taking Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb. For Dallas to be competitive in the NFC East in 2025, they will have to hit another home run in the first round. Here are five players who should be extremely high on Dallas’ draft board:

RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State

If there was ever a time for Dallas to pull off a huge first-round trade, this would be the year. Jeanty profiles as a potential superstar, and Dallas needs to fortify their running game.

WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona

McMillan has a profile like Drake London, and Dallas is desperate for a WR2 to complement Lamb.

RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

Hampton would be a good consolation prize if they lose out on Jeanty. He is a three-down back who is also big enough to be a menace at the goal line.

WR Matthew Golden, Texas

Golden has the skill set to take the top off a defense, which would open up the running game and Lamb over the middle.

Edge Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M

With Demarcus Lawrence now in Seattle, Dallas could look to draft Stewart to play alongside Parsons. Together, they would create havoc against opposing quarterbacks.
