Week two is in the books. Many players are off to hot starts, while others are picking up the pace after a slow start. Below is a breakdown of the top 10 first basemen heading into Week 3.

1. Pete Alonso, New York Mets

Alonso is slashing .400/.500/.1.133 with three home runs and 10 RBI in the last seven days.

2. Nathaniel Lowe, Washington Nationals

Lowe continued his hot start with two home runs and four RBI over his last 21 at-bats.

3. Spencer Torkelson, Detroit Tigers

Over the last seven days, Torkelson is slashing .300/.364/.550 with one home run and three RBI.

4. Triston Casas, Boston Red Sox

Casas is starting to heat up, slashing .294/.333/.588 with one home run and two RBI in the past week.

5. Michael Busch, Chicago Cubs

Busch has been a factor in the Cubs’ fast start, slashing .267/.353/.533 with one home run and four RBI in his last 15 at-bats.

6. Luis Arraez, San Diego Padres

Arraez started slowly, but over the last seven days, the Padres’ first baseman has recorded six hits and one home run.

7. Matt Olson, Atlanta Braves

The Braves are off to a slow start, but Olson has one home run and five RBI in the last seven days.

8. Paul Goldschmidt, New York Yankees

The Yankees lineup has been great to begin the season, and Goldy has hit both lead-off and cleanup while contributing.

9. Jake Burger, Texas Rangers

Burger continues to find his stroke but entered Sunday with one home run and two RBI in his last 18 at-bats.

10. Enrique Hernandez, Los Angeles Dodgers
