Here are bold predictions for the 2025 MLB season as we get ready for the start of Spring Training:
1. Mike Trout plays 150 games.

2. Jackson Holliday Wins AL Rookie of the Year.

5. Speaking of the Dodgers, Shohei goes 50/50 while striking out 200 batters.

7. Chicago Cubs return to postseason play on the backs of Kyle Tucker and Dansby Swanson.

8. Juan Soto disappoints in his first season with the Metropolitans, not even garnering a single MVP vote.

9. Mookie Betts wins a Gold Glove at shortstop.

10. Baltimore Orioles reach the ALCS. But don’t get your hopes up, because it ends there.
11. Roki Sasaki makes a seamless transition to the bigs and outpitches Yoshinobu Yamamoto to win the N.L. Rookie of the Year.
12. Both Noah Schultz and Hagen Smith show up and show out in their first cup of coffee with the White Sox.
13. Jazz Chisolm Jr. stays healthy and ends up in the conversation for AL MVP.
14. Jesus Luzardo stays healthy for the full season and wins NL Comeback Player of the Year honors.
15. The Seattle Mariners are your 2025 AL West winners, bringing home the pennant en route to their first World Series appearance.
