The carousel is moving, and teams might be ready to strike soon. Let’s predict who the teams will hire and why:

New England Patriots

Mike Vrabel: He supposedly wants $15 million a year, and Robert Kraft is offering $10. I think they meet at 12.5 and get it done.

Chicago Bears

Ben Johnson: Johnson likely would prefer not to be in the Lions division but he’s getting a talented group of young offensive players as a head start.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Robert Saleh: The Jaguars defense has been atrocious and Saleh can fix it quickly.

Las Vegas Raiders

HENDERSON, NEVADA – JUNE 10: A team logo is shown above the entrance at the 336,000-square-foot Las Vegas Raiders Headquarters/Intermountain Healthcare Performance Center under construction on June 10, 2020 in Henderson, Nevada. The site will serve as the team’s practice facility and will include three outdoor football fields, a 150,000-square-foot field house with one-and-a-half indoor football fields, a three-story office area, and a 50,000-square-foot performance center. Joe Brady: A good young offensive mind is just what this team needs. Plus, Brady to Brady has a ring to it.

New York Jets:

Arthur Smith: He’s a boring choice but the Jets need boring right now, considering the disaster this past season.

New Orleans Saints:

Aaron Glenn: A great choice. Knows the city and will have immediate respect of the players.
