Getting to a Super Bowl is much different than being good during the regular season. We have seen many great regular season teams falter when the playoffs roll around and some teams that don’t perform that well during the season but excel in the playoffs. Here are the 7 playoff teams with the best chance to make the Super Bowl.

Kansas City Chiefs:

They have been there, they have done it. They had the best record in the league this season, will have home field through the AFC playoffs, and come playoff time in KC, do we really think anyone can beat them?

Detroit Lions:

With the number one seed, they have an excellent chance to go all the way to the Super Bowl. Their biggest issue will be overcoming all the injuries they have endured. They have been one of the best teams all year and enter the postseason as such.

Philadelphia Eagles:

They have an elite defense, elite offense, and the best RB in football, and they go into the playoffs well-rested, thanks to a coach’s decision to rest his stars in week 18. Let’s not forget that they have Jalen Hurts who has been to a Super Bowl as a starting QB as well. As the number 2 seed in the NFC, they will only have to play one road game to get to the big game, or maybe none if the number one seed gets upset in the divisional round.

Buffalo Bills:

They have all the makings of a Championship-caliber team. The problem is, to get to the Super Bowl, they likely have to beat both the Ravens and the Chiefs, which seems like a tall task for anyone. It’s why they aren’t higher on this list. Josh Allen could very well be the NFL MVP this season, though, and if he plays at that level in the playoffs, the Bills can win any game in any stadium.

Baltimore Ravens:

They continued their strong finish to the season in week 18 with an absolute beat down of the Browns. The defense has really come together lately and is playing at an elite level, and the offense is as good as it gets. They also have an elite power run game in the playoffs for the first time in seemingly forever, thanks to Derrick Henry, which could help them take the next step.

Minnesota Vikings:

They had a tremendous season, and in almost any other situation, they would be a 1 or 2 seed in a conference. Instead, they have to go on the road in the first round of the playoffs. They are good enough to win clearly, as evidenced by their elite record this season, but being the 5th seed rather than the one seed makes a big difference.

Los Angeles Rams:

Even though they have to face a 14-win team, they will get to do it at home, and if they can come away with a victory, they will prove that they can beat anyone when everything is on the line. Don’t underestimate the importance of having a Super Bowl-winning QB and Head Coach.
