Five NFL Bold Predictions for Monday Night Football Week 17

The Detroit Lions (13-2) are set to face the San Francisco 49ers (6-9) on Monday Night Football in week 17. Here are some bold predictions for the matchup:

Jared Goff has been instrumental in the Lions’ offensive success this season putting up plenty of monster games.

Jahmyr Gibbs Surpasses 150 Total Yards

Jahmyr Gibbs has been a dual-threat weapon for Detroit, recently recording 154 total yards and a touchdown against the Chicago Bears.  With the 49ers’ defense dealing with injuries, Gibbs could exploit both rushing and receiving opportunities to exceed 150 total yards.

George Kittle Records Two Touchdowns

Despite the 49ers’ challenges, tight end George Kittle remains a reliable target.

Brock Purdy Throws 3 Touchdown Passes

The Lions defense has been gashed over the past several weeks due to injuries that continue to pile up. Their pass defense has been especially bad, which is the biggest reason why Purdy could have a monster game.

Lions’ Defense Forces Multiple Turnovers

The Lions’ defense has been opportunistic. Given the 49ers’ offensive struggles and injuries, Detroit’s defense may capitalize by forcing multiple turnovers.
