Xavier Worthy, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

With one of the widest ranges of possible outcomes on a weekly basis, Worthy has taken fantasy managers on a roller coaster ride through his first six games. The well-documented injuries suffered by the Kansas City wide receiver room have helped to increase Worthy’s target share, but the output remains the same. It shouldn’t be surprising as Worthy was drafted into this Chiefs system to catch deep balls and run misdirection plays and jet sweeps, but fantasy managers may be growing tired of his boom-or-bust modus operandi. The DeAndre Hopkins trade throws another set of hands to feed into this offense, but at this point in his career, Nuk won’t detract from what Andy Reid is trying to accomplish with Worthy. It’s time to say, “To me, my X-Man” and get the first-round pick onto your team before it’s too late.

Tank Dell, WR, Houston Texans

It’s prime buy-low time for Dell coming off a zero against Green Bay. To be fair, C.J. Stroud had the worst statistical game of his career, throwing for only 86 yards, and only Stefon Diggs saw more targets for the Houston offense. Dell had seen no fewer than four targets in any game this year, and there are still at least a couple of weeks before Nico Collins returns from injury. Tank converted seven targets into three receptions and 40 yards in Week 1 against the Colts with Collins in the lineup, and the Houston offense will look to bounce back strongly at home against that same Colts defense with Dell right in the mix. Dangle out an offer to an impatient manager and see if Dell can give your team the power to do more.

Tank Bigsby, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Buy one Tank, sell another. Travis Etienne is still nursing the hamstring injury that prevented him from playing against New England, where he watched Bigsby run for 118 yards and two touchdowns, but he should return this week or next. If you’re desperate for a running back, I understand holding Bigsby, but his stock may never be higher than it is right now, and Jacksonville just isn’t a good football team. This is one of the biggest sell-high moments of the season. Tank Bigsby isn’t going to win you your league, but if you’re decimated by injuries at another position, trading him away just might.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seattle Seahawks

JSN has finished as a top-30 WR only twice in PPR leagues all season and has only reached paydirt once. Outside of the Week 2 anomaly of 117 yards against the Patriots, his season high for yardage is 51. He’s been serviceable as a FLEX option, but the ups and downs of his season have frustrated many managers. When it comes to this week, D.K. Metcalf didn’t practice Wednesday and remains questionable with a Grade 1 MCL sprain, so we really can’t do anything with JSN but hold. One big game may move him into “sell” territory, so I’ll be watching Smith-Njigba closely this week.
