NFL Two-Minute Drill: Week 15

Chris looks at the latest injury updates prior to Sunday’s Week 15 kickoff.

Two-Minute Drill
  • WR Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins – The quest for 2,000 receiving yards will have to wait, as Tyreek Hill is inactive today. Hill is always one of the slate’s top performers, so this will have a major effect on your contests. The Dolphins should easily throttle the Jets even without Hill. WR Jaylen Waddle is worth playing, but you can also roster RB Raheem Mostert. RB De’Von Achane will play, but he is not 100% and will receive most of his production in garbage time.

  • WR Tutu Atwell, Los Angeles Rams – Tutu Atwell is still recovering from a concussion and is unlikely to play. The Commanders have the worst pass defense in the league, so you should pivot to other Rams receivers. Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp will have an increase in targets and Demarcus Robinson will have a larger snap share.

  • WR Marquise Brown, Arizona Cardinals – The Cardinals are expecting Hollywood to play, but I will be fading him. San Francisco has a tough defense, and Brown has not been consistent enough since Kyler Murray returned from injury.

  • WR Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints – Olave is a game-time decision, and I would only start him in season-long leagues where you do not have a suitable replacement. His ankle injury may flare up throughout the game, so I am avoiding him.

  • WR DJ Moore, Chicago Bears – After dealing with an ankle injury, Moore is expected to play against the Browns. Cleveland has the league’s best pass defense, but Moore is Justin Fields’ favorite target. He will be getting targets all game.

  • RB Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers – After missing the last three weeks, Jones is expected to play against the Bucs. Tampa Bay has done a great job at defending the run this season, but with AJ Dillon out, Jones will receive the bulk of the carries for Green Bay.
  • TE Darren Waller, New York Giants – Waller is expected to play, but I would avoid him. The Saints have not done a great job at defending tight ends, but their pass defense has been pretty stout overall. QB Tommy DeVito has only thrown for over 200 yards once, and that was against the Commanders. Waller could catch a TD, but the Giants offense isn’t good enough to trust him coming off an injury.
