As Week 6 has concluded and with Week 7 rapidly approaching, let’s take a look at some of the biggest stock risers and fallers from last week’s games.
Stock Up: WR Adam Thielen, Carolina Panthers
Thielen caught 11 of his 13 targets for 115 yards and a touchdown on Sunday against the Dolphins. He was one of the few bright spots in a blowout loss and has been one of the only bright spots on a struggling Panthers’ offense this season. He and the Panthers are on their bye this week, but Thielen should remain at least a solid play for the remainder of the season.
Stock Up: WR CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
Lamb led the Cowboys in receiving in their Monday night win over the Chargers, catching all seven of his targets for 117 yards. This performance was encouraging as Lamb has gotten off to a bit of a slow start to the season through the first five weeks. Assuming the Cowboys continue to make him the focal point of their passing offense, Lamb should remain a high-end WR2 with WR1 upside for the remainder of the season.
Stock Up: RB Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins
Mostert led Miami’s backfield with a season-high 20 touches on Sunday against the Panthers. He rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns while adding another 17 yards and an additional touchdown through the air. When given the opportunity, Mostert has performed very well this season. With De’Von Achane set to miss a few more games with injury, Mostert is a must-start in all formats.
Stock Up: WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
St. Brown caught 12 of his 15 targets for 124 yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers on Sunday. He returned after missing one game with an injury and immediately re-established himself as the go-to target in the Lions offense. He set season highs in targets, catches, and yards in Sunday’s matchup. St. Brown should remain a top WR option for the remainder of the season.
Stock Up: WR Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
After a disappointing showing in Week 5 against the Broncos, Wilson bounced back with a strong performance against Philadelphia, catching eight of his 12 targets for 90 yards. His yardage total this week was his largest so far this season, and while he hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 2, his chemistry with quarterback Zach Wilson seems to be growing stronger each week. Wilson is a safe WR2 play with WR1 upside.
Stock Down: QB Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Hurts had arguably his worst performance of the season on Sunday against the Jets. He completed 20 of his 45 pass attempts for 280 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions. He also added 47 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown. While his fantasy production was still solid, the number of turnovers from Hurts was concerning, especially since both Eagles touchdowns came in the first half and they were shut out in the second half of the game. Hurts should still be started, but he is not immune to a bad outing.
Stock Down: WR Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders
Adams caught just two of his five targets for 29 yards on Sunday against the Patriots. This was Adams’ second straight week with five or fewer targets, so it appears that his shoulder injury is limiting his production. Adams is a must-start whenever he is active, but given his injury status, expectations must be lowered. It will be important to follow Adams’ status as this week’s matchup against the Bears approaches.
Stock Down: WR Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
Nacua caught four of his seven targets for 26 yards on Sunday against the Cardinals. He has seen his production dip in the two games since Cooper Kupp returned from injury. One positive is that he was second on the team in targets this past week, which could signal that better days are ahead. However, Nacua should be valued as a WR3 with upside moving forward.
Stock Down: WR Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos
Jeudy caught three of his five targets for just 14 yards on Thursday against the Chiefs. Heading into last week’s matchup against the Chiefs, fantasy managers were looking for a positive game from Jeudy, but he didn’t deliver. He also failed to impress any potential trade partners with his performance. While he remains a tough start, a change of scenery may come soon as Jeudy is one of the most rumored players to be traded at this season’s NFL trade deadline, which is just under two weeks away.
Stock Down: QB Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mayfield struggled against the Lions as he only completed 19 of his 37 pass attempts for 206 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception. It was the first game this season where Mayfield failed to throw at least one touchdown pass. To be fair, it was a tough day for the Buccaneers’ offense as a whole, but Mayfield has now struggled in tougher matchups against both the Eagles and Lions. Mayfield will be a lower-end QB2 option this week against the Falcons.
