Hello everybody, and welcome back to another week of the WWE’s Men’s Power Rankings. With another exciting week of wrestling, not much has changed for the rankings with no PLE’s happening. That being said, let’s run through the wrestlers and get you caught up in some of the storylines. Also, remember to check out our “Through the Turnbuckles” podcast, as we cover topics in the world of wrestling. The show will be returning this week, so keep an eye out for that show. Cody Rhodes:
Cody Rhodes thought he was done with Drew McIntyre until he showed up, leading to a no-contest against Aleister Black. This ended with RAW’s General Manager, Nick Aldis, coming out and handing out a suspension to McIntyre for his disruption in the match.
C.M. Punk:
C.M. Punk started off Monday Night RAW, celebrating winning the World Heavyweight Championship. That was short-lived once the Vision showed up, which was soon followed by Logan Paul coming to the ring himself. This led to a tag team match at the end of the night that highlighted Paul knocking out Punk and handing his brass knuckles to Paul Heyman.
John Cena:
John Cena waits as the tournament to be his final opponent kicked off this week. With so many superstars wanting to be part of this match, even Punk said he would love to be considered as well. Whoever wins this tournament will have the honor of being part of Cena’s last match and his legacy.
“Main Event” Jey Uso:
Jey Uso had a chance to win his World Heavyweight Championship back on Saturday, but came up short in his match against C.M. Punk. What’s next for Jey will be seen soon enough, as I feel he’ll be airing his grievances this week. Festivus anyone? YEET!
Roman Reigns:
Roman Reigns lost to Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel as a follow-up match to their Clash in Paris match. Since then, Reigns hasn’t been on TV much, but with the holiday season kicking off soon, we can expect an early Christmas present wrapped in an OTC shirt.
Bron Breakker:
Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed kept causing problems, and it continued on Monday when they pulled a party foul on Punk’s celebration. This led to all the shenanigans that I mentioned in Punk’s section, which shows how big the Vision is right now, especially if Paul joins them.
Ilja Dragunov:
Ilja Dragunov defended his U.S. championship title against Johnny Gargano last week on Friday Night Smackdown. Dragunov won the match, but the story in the ring these two told was amazing to watch go down. Every week we get a treat from the WWE, and it continued this week with this match, leaving us fans with that good time feeling.
L.A. Knight:
L.A. Knight’s current storyline is tied in with Punk, Jimmy, Jey, and the Vision at the moment. However, Knight is focused on winning the chance to face Cena in his last match won’t be easy. Especially with Jey Uso locked in on being in that match himself. YEAH!
Dominik Mysterio:
Dominik Mysterio had the week off from inside the ring, but that didn’t stop him from running his mouth. This led to his father, Rey Mysterio, coming out to shut up his son’s big mouth. Rey let Dom know that his disrespectful words against the lucha libre would not go unpunished.
Jimmy Uso:
Jimmy Uso had another easy week as the WWE gets ready to give us another story between Jimmy and his brother Jey. For now, we wait, but you can bet that once this match takes place, Jey might not like the outcome. No YEET!
