Hi, what are you looking for?

NFL

The Weekly Dynasty Football Journal

Week 5 is in the books, and we’ve moved on to Week 6.  The NFL featured wild finishes, lots of upsets, and unexpected outcomes.  Fantasy Teams I thought were good seem to have slow starts, and other teams I thought wouldn’t compete are off to fast starts.  It’s now time to make prudent decisions to propel teams to success in the next quarter of the season, navigating the bye weeks, which test the depth.

Danger Family

This team begins play with a 9-1 record and is really hitting its stride as the #1 seed.  I will not tinker much with the squad, simply putting a quality product out each and every week.  Only Addison is on bye, so not much navigating to worry about, simply starting the starting players.  I do have my eye on Pearsall as he’s my WR3, and with his status in the air, I reached out regarding some trades.  I didn’t get a response to any offer I proposed, so I cancelled all trades and have my eye on Sterling Shepherd, should I need to pick up and start.  The #3 seed is only 1 game back, so winning two each week is still very critical to maintaining the #1 seed.  I did make a QB change, picking up Bryce Young and dropping Fields, as I get ready for the upcoming stretch of games for each team and trying to maintain a consistent outcome.  I dropped Fields as I still feel like I’m streaming and simply improving based on what is available on waivers.

TFFL2

This team only has 1 win so far with a record of 1-4 after 5 weeks.  I feel like the team is beginning to take shape; however, stacking the wins together needs to take an urgent focus.  I’ve put out some trades to add some quality WRs; however, nothing has gotten done, so I’ll try to win with what is available.  I start the week with 3 questionable receivers and Troy Franklin available on the bench to sub in.  I will continue to keep an eye on the waiver wire to make sure I get any player who can make the team better.  This week, Woody Marks is on bye, which I need to navigate through however, once we get through this week, a winning run should begin.

Clown Head Redraft I

This team begins the week with a record of 4-1 as the #3 seed.  This team might get Lamb back this week, which will really help the WR room a lot.  I’m simply looking with this team to pick anything off of waivers that can help me or be of help to anyone else, using my bench spots for anyone I believe is a valid starter in any lineup at this point.  I’m not really pursuing any trades at this point, as getting back Lamb really puts this squad at full strength.
