MLB: First Basemen Power Rankings

The first 12 weeks of the 2025 season are in the books. Injuries are starting to stack up, but numerous players continue their great performances and are headed for the All-Star Game. Below are the top 10 power rankings for first basemen heading into Week 13.

1. Pete Alonso, New York Mets

Alonso continues his tear, slashing .298/.397/.584 with 17 home runs and 63 RBI.

2. Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles Dodgers

Freeman is slashing .341/.410/.568 with nine home runs and 41 RBI.

3. Spencer Torkelson, Detroit Tigers

The Detroit first baseman leads his team with 16 home runs.

4. Matt Olson, Atlanta Braves

Over the past month, Olson has a .969 OPS with seven home runs and 21 RBI.

5. Tyler Soderstrom, Athletics

Soderstrom is tied for third among MLB first basemen with 14 home runs, accompanied by 45 RBI.

6. Jonathan Aranda, Tampa Bay Rays

Aranda is slashing .322/.412/.495 with eight home runs and 37 RBI.

Pasquantino has 74 hits, 10 home runs, and 38 RBI.

8. Paul Goldschmidt, New York Yankees

The Diamondbacks’ first baseman has an .834 OPS with nine home runs and 47 RBI.
