MLB League Leaders: Batting Average

These are the MLB league leaders in batting average entering Wednesday:

1. Aaron Judge, Yankees

The Yankee captain is batting a robust .405 this season.

2. Paul Goldschmidt, Yankees

Goldy loves playing for the Yankees. After a down season in 2024, he is batting .361 as the primary cleanup hitter in the Bronx.

3. Gavin Lux, Reds

Lux has settled in nicely with the Reds after being traded by the Dodgers. He is batting .352 so far.

4. Brendan Donovan, Cardinals

Donovan is batting .349 this season and is one of the few bright spots for the Cards.

5. Fernando Tatis Jr., Padres

Tatis Jr. is having a fantastic season all around, but his .346 average might be most impressive.

6. Steven Kwan, Guardians

Kwan is one of the best contact hitters in the sport, and he is batting .345

7. Pete Alonso, Mets

He is known more for his power, but Alonso is batting an impressive .337 right now.

8. George Springer, Blue Jays

Springer is having a solid first month of the season, batting .325

9. Jung Hoo Lee, Giants

Lee has been the Giants best player on offense so far and is batting .324 this year.

10. Zach McKinstry, Tigers

The Tigers utility man keeps getting at bats thanks to his .321 batting average.

11. Jacob Wilson, Athletics

The A’s shortstop has been great, batting .321

12. Alex Bregman, Red Sox

The Red Sox new 3B is off to a great start, batting .319

The Brewers 2B/SS is batting .319

The D-Backs new 1B is batting .318 in the first month.

15. Bobby Witt Jr., Royals
