Now that the week after Wrestlemania is over, let’s see how the rankings look after a few belt changes and a new faction being made. This is going to be so much fun watching this new faction come together but we’re still waiting on one more person. While we all speculate who it could be, the WWE has shown us once again why they’re the top company. So, as we head towards Backlash, we should find out who that person is soon enough, unless the WWE makes us wait until Rollins is in a big match before the reveal. Regardless, this type of story writing is what keeps us all tuned in. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.
John Cena:

Since John Cena has won the title, he’s been running around talking about who the true champ is. We can’t argue with him now that he’s a 17-time world champion, but Randy Orton didn’t give two licks about that accomplishment. Instead, he delivered a third lick to that equation, which ended up spelling out R.K.O., in the end.
Cody Rhodes:

Cody Rhodes has been off TV since dropping the title at WrestleMania. That doesn’t mean he won’t be back, but after going hard for that long, some time off is deserved. Right now, with Cena and Orton going at it, Cody can relax until he’s needed again,n which will be for Summerslam. Enjoy your time off, Cody, because we’ll all be waiting for your return.
“Main Event” Jey Uso:

Jey Uso had a get-together on RAW with Sami Zane and Jimmy Uso, after winning the championship at WrestleMania. This was all fun and games until things caught up with him on Friday night SmackDown, in which his actions led to Jey and Adam Pierce being kicked out of the building. After that, there was some footage from the weekend, which shows Sami pushing Jey during a dark match. Is this going to be the next feud for Jey? Who knows, but what I do know is that Nick Aldis and Adam Pierce’s exchange shouldn’t be disregarded and makes me feel a RAW vs. SmackDown PPV could be on the horizon.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins:

Seth Rollins not only masterfully pulled all the strings in the birth of his new faction, but also enlisted his wife as well. After Becky Lynch attacked Lyra Valkryia, it proved to us that no one is safe, and with another member being kept in the shadows right now, everyone is trying to grasp at what their next move is. You can best believe that with Paul Heyman in charge, you can expect anarchy and chaos as the visionary plus his next twist, in this story.
Bron Breakker:

Bron Breakker moves all the way up to the fifth spot even after losing his title at WrestleMania. It only took five days before we knew what was Bron’s next move. After watching Seth deal with Punk before Roman laid him out, we all thought things were coming back around. That was until Bron came out and laid waste to Roman, revealing himself as the next Paul Heyman guy.
C.M. Punk:

C.M. Punk came out to confront his friend Paul Heyman and Seth before he found himself on the blunt end of a beatdown. What put him in this position was that, instead of continuing his attack on Seth, Punk instead went after Heyman, which led to Rollins getting the upper hand. This feud has literally gone from hot to scorching now that we have a faction rising from these flames.
Roman Reigns:

Roman Reigns came out to get his hands on his former wiseman and Rollins, after watching Punk go down. What happened next was inevitable, and like Thanos, he was snapped back to reality, in the form of a spear by Bron. Now that the cat is out of the bag, Roman may need some help other than Punk to diffuse this situation.
Randy Orton:

Randy Orton has stepped in where Cody left off and made Cena his target. After a well timed RKO out of nowhere, he left Cena pissed on Monday. That should go over to SmackDown in which both of them delivered an almost 40-minute segment to start the show. After airing some dirty laundry that included bashing kids and talking about how John has lost himself, Orton was trying to be the voice of reason, for once. Instead, it led to Cena attacking him, but he ran away when Randy countered him and had the upper hand. This feud has been in the making for over a decade, so let’s enjoy this as we watch two of the greatest wrestlers ever, get ready to work together.
LA Knight:

I didn’t know what would happen to LA Knight after losing his title at WrestleMania. Would he have a rematch, or a new feud, or maybe make or join a new faction? None of that happened since he was easily interrupted by Drew McIntyre during his promo. That led to a match to determine who the next contender would be for Jacob Fatu. Those plans were easily altered as Damien Priest came out and put Drew through a table. After that, Fatu came out and destroyed both Priest and Knight.
Gunther:

Gunther is clearly pissed and took out all of his anger on Michael Cole and Pat McAfee. Here I thought Gunther would be the one getting some time off but instead he is just pissed off at everyone. That led to him beating Pat down and putting a hurt lock on him that will surely have McAfee running his mouth soon enough. It’s strange to see this being the focal point for Gunther, but you can expect Pat to make a statement soon enough. This could even lead to a match since McAfee is no stranger to putting up the boots and bringing the pain to Gunther.
