MLB: First Basemen Power Rankings

The 2025 MLB season has finished its third week. Many players are continuing at their torrid pace, while others are starting to come around; however, many are still figuring out how to overcome their early-season struggles. Below are the top 10 first basemen heading into Week 4. Please note that position players qualify for weekly power rankings based on a fixed number of at-bats accumulated in the previous week.

1. Tyler Soderstrom, Athletics

Last week, Soderstrom slashed .300/.440/.750 with three home runs and five RBI.

2. Ty France, Minnesota Twins

France is coming off a strong week finishing with two home runs and five RBI.

3. Spencer Torkelson, Detroit Tigers

Torkelson finished last week with six hits, two home runs, and six RBI.

4. Pete Alonso, New York Mets

Last week, Alonso led all first basemen with 10 hits and finished with one home run and eight RBI.

5. Michael Busch, Chicago Cubs

Busch put together a great week with seven hits, three doubles, one triple, one home run, and five RBI.

6. Jonathan Aranda, Tamp Bay Rays

Last week, Aranda hit one home run and drove in four runs.

7. Bryce Harper, Philadelphia Phillies

Harper finished last week with one home run and three RBI.

Schanuel continued his strong start to the week with one home run and two RBI.

9. Paul Goldschmidt, New York Yankees

10. Josh Naylor, Arizona Diamondbacks
