MLB: Catcher Power Rankings

The 2025 MLB season has finished its third week. Many players are continuing at their torrid pace, while others are starting to come around; however, many are still figuring out how to overcome their early-season struggles. Below are the top 10 catchers heading into Week 4. Please note that position players qualify for weekly power rankings based on a fixed number of at-bats accumulated in the previous week.

1. Sean Murphy, Atlanta Braves

Last week, Murphy hit three home runs and drove in six runs.

2. Cal Raleigh, Seattle Mariners

Raleigh slashed .316/.381/.895 with three home runs and four RBI.

3. William Contreras, Milwaukee Brewers

Contreras is coming off a week in which he hit two home runs and drove in seven runs.

4. Joey Bart, Pittsburgh Pirates

Last week, Bart hit one home run and finished with four RBI.

5. Keibert Ruiz, Washington Nationals

Ruiz continued his hot start to the season with nine hits and five RBI.

6. Dillon Dingler, Detroit Tigers

Dingler is coming off a week in which he recorded six hits, one home run, and two RBI.

7. Logan O’Hoppe, Los Angeles Angels

O’Hoppe’s home run raised his season total to five.

8. Pedro Pages, St. Louis Cardinals

Pages finished the week with five hits and four RBI.

9. Adley Rutschman, Baltimore Orioles

Last week, Rutschman recorded four hits, one home run, and two RBI.
