NFL: 8 Head Coaches Who Could Be Fired

Every season we see plenty of turnover at the head coaching position in the NFL. We have already seen some guys lose their jobs, but here are eight more to keep an eye on!

Brian Daboll, Giants

Daboll might be one of those coaches who is better as a coordinator than he is as the top guy. His best player, Malik Nabers, is frustrated as are the Giant faithful. Will the Mara family give him another year?

Matt Eberflus, Bears

Chicago has played better offensive football the past two weeks but has come out on the losing end of close games. Is it time to fire Eberflus to find a coach who can get them over the hump?

Doug Pederson, Jaguars

It seems only a matter of time before Pederson finally gets fired. The team looks like it’s just going through the motions on both sides of the ball.

Mike McCarthy, Cowboys

McCarthy might have saved his job with a big win against Washington. Jerry Jones loves him, but Cowboys fans don’t. Any new coach is going to want to have more authority than Jones will be willing to give.

Antonio Pierce, Raiders

Pierce is more of a rah-rah guy than an X’s and O’s guy, and it seems right now that the Raiders need more X’s and O’s than anything else.

Zac Taylor, Bengals

There’s a lot of frustration in Cincinnati as they’ve lost numerous close games this season. This would be a prime job for Ben Johnson or any other hot coordinator, as taking over a team with Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase instantly makes this the number one job available.

Darren Rizzi, Saints

Rizzi’s a placeholder, but the Saints have played inspired football under his guidance. If he can pull off a few more upsets, he might just hold on to the job.

Jeff Ulbrich, Jets

The Jets fired their general manager, Joe Douglas, last week, and most likely, their new general manager will want to bring in his own guy.
