RP/SP Ryan Weathers, Miami Marlins (59%)
Don’t look now, but Weathers has been on a roll lately. In fact, if it wasn’t for the four runs he allowed in his most recent start, Weathers would have had six consecutive quality starts. And it’s not as if his last start was poor by any means, as he still pitched a full six innings and struck out eleven hitters, which is the most in a start for him so far this season. While he won’t get many wins playing for the lowly Marlins and is still likely to experience some growing pains at just 24 years old, Weathers’ arrow is pointed definitively up right now.
SP Tylor Megill, New York Mets (42%)
The towering 6’7” Megill seems healthy after returning from the IL for a shoulder strain and has pitched well in his three appearances. His best start was his most recent, where he went seven innings against the powerful Dodgers batting lineup and allowed a mere three hits, one walk and no runs with an impressive nine strikeouts. His peripheral stats are superb over this small sample of innings, and he is averaging almost 99 mph on his fastball. This is definitely an arm worth taking a flier on now, especially considering how scarce good starting pitching is this year.
OF Miguel Andujar, Oakland Athletics (32%)
Andujar is finally healthy after knee surgery in the offseason. To say he is making up for lost time would be an understatement. Over the past week since he returned, Andujar has a hit in almost half of his 29 at-bats, with 2 bombs and a whopping 12 RBI already. He even stole a base because, at that point, why not? This pace is obviously unsustainable, and Andujar has flashed his potential in the past only to end up disappointing. However, he has already done enough for Oakland to give him regular playing time for a while. Even if he cools off eventually, he might be worth scooping right now to try and catch some of that lightning in a bottle.
2B/SS David Hamilton, Boston Red Sox (17%)
Hamilton has been seeing regular playing time of late as a reward for hitting for a high average and putting his wheels to use. He now has 9 steals on the season, and fantasy owners may not realize just how much speed upside Hamilton has. This is a guy who had at least 50 steals in each of his three minor league seasons, with a high of over 70 in 2022. If he can keep a regular role for Boston, which is looking increasingly possible due to Vaughn Grissom’s struggles and Hamilton’s hot bat, then fantasy owners who pick him up now could be rewarded handsomely.
OF Corey Julks, Chicago White Sox (9%)
With Eloy Jiminez out for the next month, the recently acquired Julks should have regular playing time for the White Sox and a chance to prove he deserves it. So far, over his 40 at-bats, he has shown excellent plate discipline and some pop and speed. This reflects what he was doing at AAA before his callup, and if he can keep it up he could be a nice addition for fantasy owners in need of an outfielder in deeper leagues.

SP Jake Irvin, Washington Nationals (49%)
Struck out ten last start and has not been walking guys. Worth keeping an eye on.
SP Spencer Schwellenbach, Atlanta Braves (42%)
An intriguing young starter with a great chance on a great team.
SP Cade Povich, Baltimore Orioles (38%)
Still worth keeping an eye on, even with Albert Suarez back in a starter role.
2B/3B/OF Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Toronto Blue Jays (22%)
Boring but consistent. A solid plug-in guy in deeper formats with great multi-eligibility.
SS Ryan Bliss, Seattle Mariners (17%)
Already has two steals in just four games since his callup. His speed is legit.
