Reporter #1:  Do you know anybody in the league, a player or a coach who you can go to ask for advice during this process?

Harvey: I know Green Bay Packers players Dontayvion Wicks and Javon Baker; I keep in touch with those guys.  Those are the main two.

Reporter #1:  Any piece of advice that sticks out?

Harvey:  Just keep your head down and work. Do everything the coaches tell you to do and take in as much information as you can.

Reporter #2: So whose NFL highlights did you grow up watching?

Harvey: In Little League, I used to watch Walter Payton highlights, Adrian Peterson, Le’Veon Bell, but my favorite player ever is Lamar Jackson for sure.

Reporter 2:  Best memory at UCF?

Harvey: Best memory is when I scored the game-winning touchdown against Cincinnati in 2022, and I’ll say the “Space game” in 2023 when we played Oklahoma State.

Reporter #2:  What does UCF, what does that program mean to you?

Harvey:  It means everything.  I transferred there after my freshman year at Virginia, and it’s my hometown. All my family members came to all my home games and tried to attend as many of my away games as possible. It was a blessing for them to come and see me play each week.  I just enjoyed my time with all the fans and coaches who were there.

Reporter #2: Alright, what’s your dream car?

Harvey – Dream car (laughs)?  To be honest, I haven’t even had time to think about that.  Probably a g-wagon.

Reporter #2 – Alright, tough one.  Who would play you in a movie?

Harvey – Who would play me in a movie?  Like an actor?  I’m not sure, probably Trevor Etienne could play me (laughs).

Reporter #2 – Whose college atmosphere was your favorite to play in other than your own?

Harvey: Florida and Oklahoma

Reporter #2 – Whose NFL stadium are you most excited to play in once you get drafted?

Harvey – Miami Dolphins, because growing up, that has always been my favorite team.

Reporter #2 – So fast forward to when you get drafted, we’re at draft time, what’s your future advice to your future self to go about that experience?

Harvey – Yeah, I’ll just tell my future self to treat everybody with respect, stay down and stay humble, put in all the hard work and dedication and eventually everything will be alright.

Reporter #2 – Who would you like to thank the most once you get drafted?

Harvey – I’m thanking the Lord, I’m thanking God, Jesus Christ, and of course, my parents, my family for sure.

Justin:  RJ, I’m Justin, how you doing?

Harvey – Nice to meet you.

Justin:  So this is like the ultimate job interview, right, the Senior Bowl, you’re here.  What are some of those proverbial boxes you’re trying to check off here?

Harvey – Yeah, I just want to show the coaches I can do anything, anything they ask me to do, I can do it.  Whether it’s special teams, any type of running style, run scheme, or pass protection.  Hopefully, my time here has helped my draft process, and where they have me ranked on the draft boards and stuff like that.  It has been a blessing to be out here learning from all these NFL coaches and hanging around all these players.  Everybody is top-notch at their respective programs; it’s just getting us ready for the league.

Justin:  Anything specific you’re focusing on while you’re here?

Harvey:  Route running and pass protection.

Justin:  Ok, so like advanced stats, you pop in like these advanced stats models, I don’t know if you were aware of that. You’re up there at the top of many of these advanced stat categories.  Is that something you pride yourself on, like being elusive, separating yourself from your fellow running backs?

Harvey:  To be honest, I don’t even know what advanced stats are, I just go out there and play football (smiling).

Justin: What’s your favorite route?

Harvey: Favorite route, I love running wheel routes and option routes.

Justin:  How about your favorite run?  When they call your number and they call that play, what’s the play?

Harvey: I like inside zone and counter plays.

Justin:  I wish you the best of luck!

Harvey:  Thank you!
