I’m jacked up after a great NXT PPV last night, which starts the week off in style. Starting with Monday Night RAW tonight, we should see some shenanigans leading up to the Clash in Paris. Also, remember to check out the latest episode of Through the Turnbuckles, as Crissi Rae and I weigh in on the world of wrestling. That being said, let’s get to this week’s power rankings so we can catch up with some of the stories going on right now. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.
Cody Rhodes: Cody Rhodes doesn’t have a match at the Clash in Paris; however, that doesn’t mean he won’t show up this week. With Drew McIntyre constantly showing up, we could see this match added to CIP, but I feel this is going to happen at Wrestlepalooza.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins: Seth Rollins and the Vision have their work cut out for them this weekend with Rollins defending his World Heavyweight Championship in a Fatal-Four Way match. I feel like Rollins will retain, but that doesn’t mean there could be a twist to this story that could shock everyone. Listen to the new episode of Through the Turnbuckles to hear this theory.
John Cena: John Cena had his hands full with Logan Paul heading into the Clash in Paris. With Brock Lesnar looming on the horizon, Cena will need to watch his back all week, especially this weekend. As for the match with Paul, I see Cena winning it as one at the Beast Incarnate stays away.
C.M. Punk: C.M. Punk had a chance to win the World Heavyweight Championship in his Fatal-Four Way match this Saturday. I don’t have Punk winning, but with these four superstars in the same ring, anything is possible.
Roman Reigns: Roman Reigns will be facing Bronson Reed on Saturday with hopes that he’ll get his shoes back. We aren’t getting the Ladder Match that I wanted with the shoes hanging from above, but I’ll take a match to see the OTC serve a can of you know what.
“Main Event” Jey Uso: Jey Uso steps into the Fatal-Four Way match as a fan favorite but not favored to win the match. Even though Jey is loved by us fans, it’s not going to equate to a championship, yet. For now, I see Jey helping Reigns once the Vision shows up to help Bronson Reed. YEET!
Bron Breakker: Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed continue to make waves in the WWE by being Seth’s henchmen. However, Bron doesn’t have a match this week, which means he’ll be up to no good in both the Fatal-Four Way match, as well as Reed’s match against Reigns.
Jacob Fatu: Jacob Fatu has finally caught up with his cousin Solo Sikoa in the numbers game. For now, Fatu has no match this weekend, so he should be highly active this week. I can easily see him running into Solo Sikoa again, but this time, he gets the upper hand.
Solo Sikoa: Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline are in trouble now that Sami Zane showed up and is part of Friday Night SmackDown now. That means the Bloodline’s game is over, and with everyone looking to overthrow the U.S. Champion, you could say Sikoa’s days are numbered.
L.A. Knight: L.A. Knight is the fourth wrestler in the Fatal-Four Way match at Saturday’s Clash in Paris. I would say that Knight is a favorite to win the match as well, but he has no chance in my eyes. However, I have a theory, and if this happens, it could strengthen a certain faction. YEAH!
