Imagine a dented, old soup can on the shelf. Now picture it in the discount aisle. Those are the soup cans nobody wants, the ones that took a beating. At one point, before they fell off the shelf, we all bought in. Now we realize that soup wasn’t ever that good. In boxing a tomato can is the fighter that takes those beatings. Gets beaten up, and never recovers. Becoming a shell of their former selves. In MMA and on the Fight Club of Pain, we call them Soup Cans. This is my soup can of the week for UFC Fight Night: Dolidze vs. Hernandez
Andre “Touchy” Fili (FD $14 | DK $7,800)
Andre Fili has rotated wins and losses since 2022. Never winning or losing consecutively, but falling off with each fight. Fili put on a classic performance in his fight with Cub Swanson in July of last year, but let’s face it, Swanson hasn’t been the “Killer Cub” we’re all used to seeing as of late. A good performance by Fili in a split decision victory that I personally thought he lost, isn’t a good talking point. In his last fight, “Touchy” got submitted in the first round by Melquizael Costa in a lackluster fight nobody remembers. Andre “Touchy” Fili is another fighter past his prime and needs to be in the discounted soup aisle. With all of that said, I am picking Fili this weekend to win by decision ,which is +345 and shock the world again. If you’re feeling lucky, then parlay the moneyline and distance for a +491.
