Top MLB Prop Picks 4/11
Jon Gray LESS Than 6.5 Strikeouts
Even though he is pitching against the A’s, who are one of the worst teams in baseball, we still have to bet against Gray tonight. In his past 24 starts, Gray has topped 6.5 Ks just four times and this year, including Spring Training, his highest number of Ks is four. The 6.5 total is set because of his opponent, but it doesn’t take Gray’s lack of strikeouts into consideration. His longest start this season is 3.2 innings and he would likely need to double it in order to be in the game long enough to even have a chance to reach seven Ks.
Adolis Garcia MORE Than 6 Fantasy Points
Garcia has picked up right where he left off. He was tremendous in the postseason for the Rangers, and this season, he already has four HRs in ten games. He isn’t just hitting homers, though; he’s doing a little bit of everything, and that’s what makes him such a great fantasy player. He is batting .292 with a .340 OBP, three doubles, nine runs, 13 RBIs, and two SBs. He is facing lefty JP Sears today, who has an ERA of 8.86 and a WHIP of 1.61. The A’s pitching staff overall ranks as one of the worst in MLB, so expect a lot of hits and runs from the Rangers today, with Garcia being right in the middle of it all!
Ozzie Albies MORE Than 0.5 Runs & MORE Than 1.5 Total Bases
Albies hits second in a very deep and talented Braves lineup, giving him plenty of run-scoring opportunities. Austin Riley, Matt Olson, Marcell Ozuna and Michael Harris are all big run producers, so Albies’ job is just to get on base. He faces a LHP today, and traditionally, Albies excels against southpaws. Not only does he hit for an elite batting average and OBP, but he also has legit power to drive himself in too. Anytime Albies is facing a LHP and you can bet OVER on 0.5 runs, you should do it
