Aaron Judge MORE than 8 Fantasy Points
What he has done all season is really quite incredible. There is no better player to pick for fantasy points this season except for maybe Ohtani. Looking at what Judge has done lately, though, Over the past two weeks, he is batting .341 with nine HR, 11 runs, and 15 RBI. Over the past four weeks, he is batting .409 with 14 HR, 23 runs, and 26 RBI. He also has a .465 OBP this season, and a month ago, it was at .445, so he has even raised his OBP 20 points in the past month. Any time you can bet on Judge’s fantasy points, you should do it unless he is going against an elite pitcher, and he isn’t tonight. He faces MacKenzie Gore, who has a 4.51 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP this season. Gore has been even worse since the beginning of June, posting a 5.79 ERA since then.
Jake Burger MORE than 6 Fantasy Points
Burger has had his best stretch of the season over the past 30 days. Since July 29th, he is batting .294 with 12 HR, 20 runs, and 20 RBI. He has brought his hot bat with him into Coors Field this week, and after taking him last night and seeing him win on his prop, I want to go right back to him. Any time Burger is playing on the road, he is a much more productive player. In fewer road games than home games, Burger has more HR and more RBI on the road, and both his average and OBP jump up from .223 to .276 and .277 to .336, which are both big improvements.
Luis Severino MORE than 4.5 Strikeouts
Although he is well under a K per inning this season, striking out 122 batters in 147.2 innings, Severino has been striking out a lot more batters lately. Over his past seven starts, Sevy has struck out five or more batters in six of them, and he has struck out eight batters in two of his past three starts. Although his matchup is tough tonight, taking on the highest-scoring team in MLB in the D-Backs, it doesn’t mean that his strikeout totals are going to take a hit. I am banking on his recent success to continue.
Jose Ramirez MORE than 7.5 Fantasy Points
Ramirez is one of the best hitters in the American League and is a fantasy points gold mine thanks to his 31 doubles, 33 HR, and 32 SB this season. His recent hitting streak was snapped last night, but that means he is ready to start a new one. During his four-game streak, J-Ram had seven hits, four doubles, a HR, three runs, three RBI, and two SB. He is essentially matchup-proof every day and can rack up points in so many ways that it’s hard to pass on his fantasy points prop whenever it’s available. The fact that he went hitless yesterday just means there is a higher likelihood that he does damage tonight.
