This Weeks Record: 0-0

Last Weeks Record: 10-6-1

Past Six Weeks Record: 66-49-6

Matt Chapman MORE than 6.5 Fantasy Points

Chapman has an excellent matchup tonight against Nationals SP Patrick Corbin. Corbin, a lefty, has struggled mightily this season with a 2-11 record, 5.88 ERA, and 1.52 WHIP. Chapman is batting .300 with a .389 OBP this season against lefties compared to his .226 and .316 vs. righties. He has at least one hit in seven of his past eight games, and four of those games were multi-hit efforts.

Zac Gallen MORE than 4 Strikeouts

His matchup tonight isn’t ideal, as he faces a good Guardians lineup. Still, Gallen has struck out four or more batters in six of his past seven starts, so even in a tougher matchup tonight, four seems like a reasonable number for him to match or exceed. The Diamondbacks currently hold down the final playoff spot in the National League and are only half a game out from the top wild-card seed, so this is a big game and series. Expect Gallen to show up in a big moment.

Elly De La Cruz MORE than 0.5 Runs

Elly hasn’t had a walk or a hit in August yet, but he has always been a streaky hitter, so there’s nothing to worry about. He still has a very impressive 18 HR and 57 SB this year which is why he has scored 70 runs this season. He bats second in the lineup, so all it takes is for him to get on base, and his legs do the rest. He can steal 2nd and 3rd, and the middle of the order drives him in. Tonight, he and the Reds face Roddery Munoz, who has allowed four HR and eight ER in his past two starts, totaling ten innings.

Salvador Perez MORE than 5.5 Fantasy Points

Perez bats cleanup for the Royals and has at least one hit in 10 of his past 13 games. He hasn’t had back-to-back games without a hit since June 23rd, which is pretty incredible. I bring up that stat because he didn’t get a hit yesterday, so getting one today is all the more likely. He is in a good matchup, too, against lefty James Paxton. Perez is batting .311 with a .367 OBP this season against LHP compared to his .272 and .331 vs. RHP.
