Rafael Devers MORE than 1.5 Total Bases
Devers is one of the most feared hitters in MLB, and tonight, he gets the added boost of playing in Coors Field. He has 23 HR, 61 RBI, and 62 runs this season to go with 18 doubles, four triples, and a .286 AVG. He will face Austin Gomber tonight, who has struggled this season, and a Rockies pitching staff that ranks toward the bottom in every major category this season.
Jose Altuve MORE than 5.5 Fantasy Points
Altuve is having an excellent season, batting .304 with 57 runs, 18 doubles, 14 HR, 44 RBI, and 15 SB. He can score fantasy points in so many ways, and hitting atop the Astros orders gives him plenty of opportunities each night. He has a hit in every game since the all-star break and has a hit in nine of his past ten games as well. He faces a lefty tonight, which is good news because Altuve is batting .323 this season with a .374 OBP vs. southpaws.
Cole Ragans MORE than 6 Strikeouts
Ragans has at least six strikeouts in each of his past five starts and in nine of his past ten starts. He has also been a workhorse this season, throwing at least 100 pitches in six of his past seven starts, which allows him to go deeper into games and, therefore, rack up more strikeouts along the way. He should be very fresh tonight after having nearly ten days off in between starts, not including his one inning during the all-star game.
Shohei Ohtani MORE than 0.5 Runs
It doesn’t get better than Shohei Ohtani, folks. He is batting .315 this season with a .401 OBP, 78 runs, 30 HR, 70 RBI, and 23 SB. Since Mookie Betts got hurt, Ohtani has been batting in the lead-off spot for the Dodgers, which usually means more runs scored. His elite ability to get on base, coupled with his elite SB ability and great base running, put him in an even greater position to score a run. Of course, with his elite HR power, he can drive himself in as well.
