Peralta has been hit hard in his past three outings but has maintained a high strikeout rate. Tonight, he should get back on track against the weak-hitting Marlins and continue to rack up big strikeout numbers, too.
Nestor Cortes LESS than 6 strikeouts
Nestor pitches amazing at home in the Bronx. He has one of the best home ERA’s in all of MLB. Still, he has only topped this 6.5 number once in his past five starts, and the Mariners have hit well so far in this series. I don’t see him reaching this number tonight.
Marcus Semien MORE than 5.5 Fantasy Points
Semien has been one of the most consistent hitters on the Rangers this season. He has reached base safely in nine of his past ten games and has a good matchup tonight against Taijuan Walker, who has a 4.91 ERA and 1.41 WHIP this season. Look for Semien to get at least one hit, a walk, and either a run or RBI tonight.
Freddie Freeman MORE than 6 Fantasy Points
It’s very rare for Freeman not to contribute to the offense in some way. Last night, he went 0-4 and was kept off the board. Look for him to bounce back today in a great matchup against D-Backs SP Ryne Nelson, who has a 7.06 ERA and 1.84 WHIP this season.
