Top MLB Prop Picks 5/15

Aaron Judge  MORE Than 6 Fantasy Points

I played this prop yesterday when it was at seven fantasy points, and I will go back to it today at six. Judge has been hot at the dish lately, and when he is feeling it like this, few hitters are better or more dangerous than he is. Even when he isn’t getting hits, he is drawing plenty of walks and still scoring runs.

Mookie Betts MORE Than 5.5 Fantasy Points

Betts is one of the best hitters in MLB. He is batting .345 this season with a .441 OBP. He has power and speed, and as the Dodgers’ leadoff hitter, he scores plenty of runs. There are many ways that he can rack up fantasy points, and he’s been extra hot at the plate lately, with three straight multi-hit games.

Framber Valdez LESS Than 6.5 Strikeouts

Valdez hasn’t been as sharp this season as we have seen him in the past. Of course, right now, that can be said of every Astros pitcher. He does still have decent ratios and a winning record, which is impressive on a team that is 17-25 this season. But his strikeout totals are down from a year ago, and he hasn’t struck out more than six hitters in a start all season. In fact, he only has one start this season with more than five strikeouts. So, at this point, we have to choose the under on this number.

Kyle Bradish MORE Than 5.5 Strikeouts

I wanted to play this prop yesterday, but unfortunately, the game was postponed. So let’s play it today! Bradish returned from the IL recently, and he’s been excellent, as expected. He struck out five Yankees in his debut and then struck out nine Nationals in his second start. Today, he faces the Blue Jays, who swing and miss at an above-average rate, and they struggle against good pitching. I love Bradish today.
