MLB: Third Basemen Power Rankings

MLB has completed its first five weeks, with big storylines ready to take focus. We are approaching the time of the year when numerous players start to find their groove and top prospects start receiving their calls to the Major Leagues. Below is a breakdown of Week 6’s top third basemen.

1. Alex Bregman, Boston Red Sox

Bregman continues his surge, slashing .327/.398/.567 with five home runs and 21 RBI.

2. Austin Riley, Atlanta Braves

One of the hottest hitters over the past month, the Braves’ third baseman is slashing .304/.349/.520 with six home runs and 18 RBI.

3. Jose Ramirez, Cleveland Guardians

Ramirez is starting to lock in, raising his season total to five home runs, 14 RBI, and five stolen bases.

4. Eugenio Suarez, Arizona Diamondbacks

The streakiest hitter in MLB, Suarez has 10 home runs and 20 RBI while having one of the best hard-hit percentages in the league.

5. Dylan Moore, Seattle Mariners

The Seattle third baseman is on track for a career year, slashing .286/.346/.557 with nine RBI, five stolen bases, and tied for first with six home runs among MLB third basemen.

6. Matt Chapman, San Francisco Giants

Chapman is on the verge of breaking out, sitting on five home runs and 16 RBI.

7. Junior Caminero, Tampa Bay Rays

Modest production has seen Caminero reach five home runs and 12 RBI.

8. Isaac Paredes, Houston Astros

Paredes leads the Astros offense with four home runs and is tied for the team lead with 13 RBI.

9. Maikel Garcia, Kansas City Royals

Entering his third full season, Garcia is starting to find his stride, slashing .284/.354/.420 with two home runs, 10 RBI, and three stolen bases.

10. Noelvi Marte, Cincinnati Reds

Marte has played in 10 games since his call-up and is one of the hottest hitters in baseball, slashing .353/.405/.618 with two home runs, 10 RBI, and two stolen bases.
