NFL: Top Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Adds: Week 13

Every week, I will share my favorite waiver wire or free agent pickups in fantasy football. Some weeks are more important than others because of bye weeks, but adding the right player any week can make all the difference. Here is what I have for week 12!

QB Bryce Young, Panthers

He and the Panthers are playing much better football recently. Young even went toe to toe with Mahomes in week 12 and led a game-tying drive late in the 4th quarter. If he finishes the season strong, you’ll want the option of playing him in good matchups.

QB Cooper Rush, Cowboys

The Cowboys have been bad this season, but Rush and company played pretty well on Sunday and have a juicy matchup on Thanksgiving against a really bad Giants team. He is definitely worth considering.

QB Will Levis, Titans

Levis has looked a lot better over the past few weeks. He and the Titans pulled off a big upset over the Texans in week 12, and he is connecting well with both Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.

RB Jeremy McNichols, Commanders

Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler both left the week 12 loss with injuries. That opens the door for McNichols to be the lead back in Washington and he should be added in all formats. If you do get him, I’d hold onto him even if Robinson and/or Ekeler don’t miss much time because it’s that time of the fantasy football season to stash.

RB Jaylen Warren, Steelers

The Steelers give Najee so many touches, and with Wilson taking over at QB, the passing game has become more involved, too. That has left people forgetting about Warren, and it explains why he is still available in nearly 50% of leagues. He is a strong runner, and he is good at catching passes out of the backfield, so you should be looking to add him, especially if you will have RBs on a bye in a couple of weeks (week 14).

WR Noah Brown, Commanders

He has established himself as a threat in the offense. Although he and Terry McLaurin have been inconsistent this season, Brown has upside, especially with Jayden Daniels as his QB. Daniels looks healthy again, and with the Commanders losing two of their RBs to injuries last week, they may rely more heavily on the pass.

WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Titans

He keeps finding the endzone, and as QB Will Levis continues to improve, so will his pass catchers. Calvin Ridley is still the top dog in Tennessee, but there is no questioning who the number two pass catcher is anymore.

WR Keon Coleman, Bills

He has been hurt, and with so many bye weeks, teams have had to drop him off their roster. He is expected back this week following the Bills bye, and he should be grabbed wherever possible. You always want players who have elite QBs getting them the football.

TE Zach Ertz, Commanders

He just keeps getting it done. He is the one pass catcher who seems to have a good game every week for the Commanders. Their WR production has been inconsistent, but rookie QB Jayden Daniels has been able to lean heavily on his veteran TE.

Cowboys and Bills

The Cowboys are in a good spot at home this week against the Giants. Other than that, they aren’t interesting. The Bills have a really good setup for weeks 16 and 17, which, in most leagues, are the semi-finals and finals, so they would be great to pick up and stash now. They will be at home, in freezing cold weather, against the Patriots and against the Jets.
