MLB League Leaders: Batting Average

These are your MLB batting average leaders entering play on Wednesday:

1. Aaron Judge, Yankees

2. Freddie Freeman, Dodgers

The first baseman has been on fire and is batting .366 this season.

3. Jacob Wilson, Athletics

The A’s shortstop has been great, batting .363

4. Paul Goldschmidt, Yankees

Goldy loves playing for the Yankees. After a down season in 2024, he is batting .344 as the primary cleanup hitter in the Bronx.

5. Jonathan Aranda, Rays

Aranda is leading the Rays with a .339 average.

6. Steven Kwan, Guardians

Kwan is one of the best contact hitters in the sport, and he is batting .333

7. Manny Machado, Padres

Manny has been hot lately, raising his average to .331

8. Will Smith, Dodgers

The Dodgers backstop is batting .330

9. Fernando Tatis Jr., Padres

Tatis Jr. is having a fantastic season all around, but his .316 average might be most impressive.

Teo is batting an impressive .315 this season.

11. Bobby Witt Jr., Royals

The AL MVP candidate is batting .312

12. Brendan Donovan, Cardinals

Donovan is batting .312 this season and is one of the few bright spots for the Cards.

13. Pete Alonso, Mets
