1. Los Angeles Dodgers

This team hasn’t even played their best yet, but on paper, no one is better and no one will be better when the season ends.
2. New York Mets

Their starting pitching has been better than expected, and their lineup is great. The Mets are off to a great start.

The offense is amazing and they are competing with the best in the league.
4. Philadelphia Phillies

They are a very good team, but are not playing as well as expected to begin the season.
5. San Diego Padres

Have been playing great baseball so far, and it should continue if they can get Jackson Merrill back soon.

Great rotation and getting production from young hitters.

They need to get their starting pitching figured out. Beyond Fried and Rodon, it’s been messy.

The Mariners are right there, record-wise, with the top teams in the AL.
