The first four weeks of the 2025 season are behind us, and numerous players are off to hot starts. As the weather starts heating up across the country, there will be players finally breaking out of early-season slumps and the start of teams calling up their top prospects. Below is a breakdown of the top 10 third basemen in MLB heading into Week 5.
1. Alex Bregman, Boston Red Sox

Bregman is leading MLB third basemen with 16 RBI while slashing .301/.359/.530 with four home runs.
2. Junior Caminero, Tampa Bay Rays

Last week, Caminero slashed .346/.370/.731 with three home runs and seven RBI. On the season, the Tampa Bay star has five home runs and 11 RBI.

Riley has five home runs and 12 RBI through 78 at-bats.
4. Eugenio Suarez, Arizona Diamondbacks

Suarez leads MLB third basemen with six home runs and has 15 RBI on the season.
5. Dylan Moore, Seattle Mariners

Moore is on the best start in his career, slashing .306/.370/.571 with four home runs, six RBI, and five stolen bases.
6. Jose Ramirez, Cleveland Guardians

The dependable Jose Ramirez has four home runs and eight RBI through his first 19 games.
7. Matt Chapman, San Francisco Giants

Chapman is off to a solid start to the season with three home runs and 12 RBI.
8. Nolan Arenado, St. Louis Cardinals

Trade rumors haven’t bothered Arenado as he’s slashing .288/.388/.452 with two home runs and 10 RBI.
9. Isaac Paredes, Houston Astros

Paredes struggled last week, slashing .056/.150/.222, but has three home runs and 10 RBI on the season.
10. Manny Machado, San Diego Padres

The production has been a bit quiet through his first 20 games, but Machado has slashed .307/.373/.493 with two home runs and nine RBI.
