#2 – Cleveland Browns at Washington Commanders

The Browns are not scoring points, but they continue to play at an up-tempo pace, coming in with the 4th fastest time between plays at 35.8 seconds. The Cleveland offenses get the absolute best matchup for opposing QBs and WRs, and it’s also a top-10 matchup for RBs!

#3 – Carolina Panthers at Chicago Bears

The Panthers come in with the 6th fastest seconds per snap at 26.5, while the Bears are 4th fastest at 25.9, which means we will get a lot of plays run in this one.  The Bears are 6th in total plays run (257) and 7th in plays per game (63.0).  Both teams are above league average in Pass Percentage per game, with the Panthers at 59.3%, which has been rising with Andy Dalton playing Quarterback, while the Bears are at 61.1%, the 8th highest in the league.  The Panthers are throwing it nearly 39 times per game with Dalton, while the Bears are at nearly 40, which is an extremely high passing rate.  The two teams’ Pass Percentage + Pass Rate Over Expected is a combined 58%.  The Bears have a pass rate of 64%, with a run rate of 35% and come in running the second most Non-Two Minute No Huddle at 25.2%.  Conversely, the Panthers have a pass rate of 63% with a run rate of 36%.  Chicago faces a struggling Panthers defense that is a top 5 matchup for opposing QBs, RBs, and WRs!
