Two-Minute Drill
-
RB Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins will be without their starting RB for their game against the Ravens. This means that standout rookie De’Von Achane will get the bulk of the workload out of the backfield. Jaylen Waddle is also OUT, so Tua will need to depend heavily on Tyreek Hill.
-
WR Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals – Chase is a game-time decision, but should provide a spark for the Bengals if he is active. Browning struggled last week without Chase on the field, so Chase’s absence will be noticeable if he doesn’t suit up. If he does play, I am not expecting a huge day for Chase, but it should result in a close game.
-
WR DK Metcalf, Seattle Seahawks – Metcalf is expected to play against the Steelers. This is in the 4 pm ET slot, so you won’t have many options if he is a late inactive. For DFS, you can easily pivot to Lockett or Smith-Ngjiba. If it’s your seasonal Fantasy Football championship, you can keep Metcalf in and look for a Broncos or Chiefs WR in free agency.
-
RB Kenneth Walker, Seattle Seahawks – Walker is also expected to play, but he is unlikely to be 100%. I am fading him today due to his uncertainty.
-
WR Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos – Jeudy is expected to play after battling an illness. Sutton has already been ruled OUT and Marvin Mims has been declared OUT as well. I am fading Jeudy today with Stidham at QB and the possibility that Jeudy could leave early due to his illness.
-
QB Jacoby Brissett, Washington Commanders – After being named the starter, Brissett is OUT with an injury. You may have included Brissett in your DFS lineups as a cheap QB play, so be sure to remove him. Sam Howell will start, so you can swap in Howell instead of drastically changing your lineups.
-
WR Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams – Nacua could be this year’s OROY, and he is likely to continue his campaign this week. The Rams are expecting him to play, which is great news considering the Rams have a favorable matchup against the Giants.
-
RB Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints – Kamara also came down with an illness during the week, but is playing today. I am fading Kamara this week. His ceiling has been 100+ yards from scrimmage with a TD. Those are solid stats, especially with PPR scoring, but you can find better value on the slate. I would also be worried that the Saints would limit Kamara’s workload due to his illness.
- TE Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears – Justin Fields will have his second favorite target available today, as Kmet will play. The Falcons have been stingy against the pass this year, but I still expect Kmet to be one of the most productive TEs on the slate.
- WR Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens – Flowers will play in today’s battle for the top seed in the AFC. Even though the Dolphins have a great pass defense, you can play Flowers on your Fantasy Football championships. I would stay away from him in DFS due to the abundance of options you have to choose from.
