Two Minute Drill

  • RB Saquon Barkley, New York Giants – Barkley is a game-time decision against the Bills. He has missed the last three weeks with a high-ankle sprain. If Barkley is active, you should fade him as he will likely not be 100% and could re-aggravate that sprain. The Bills have not done a great job at defending the run this year, but since this is the Sunday night game, it is not worth taking the risk.

  • TE Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions – The rookie tight end is expected to play against the Bucs. Tampa Bay have been one of the best this season at defending the tight end with only 3.2 points allowed per game to tight ends through the first five games. LaPorta is a definite play in season-long leagues with the limited options at the position, but a fade in DFS contests with his high price tag.

  • WR Marquise Brown, Arizona Cardinals – Brown was listed as questionable with an illness this week, but he is expected to play. The Rams are league average in defending the pass, but with a game total of 48.5, there will be plenty of scoring. Hollywood Brown has been Joshua Dobbs’ top target this year, and that will continue against the Rams. You can pivot to WR Michael Wilson if Brown is ruled out.

  • WR Tank Dell, Houston Texans – Tank Dell has been ruled out for today’s game. The Saints are only allowing 183 passing yards per game this season, so I would fade the other Texans receivers.

  • Rain showers and heavy wind are expected in Cleveland today, which will affect the 49ers vs. Browns game. With the weather and the news of PJ Walker replacing Deshaun Watson at QB for this matchup, the game total is an abnormally low 35.5. Benching Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, or Kittle in season-long leagues would be tough considering their point totals this season, but they should be faded in DFS contests. Amari Cooper is worth placing on your bench especially if you have a better option available. The Browns and 49ers are the top two defenses in the league in terms of yards per game, so you may want to fade this game all-together, especially with the weather.
