Dr. Roto’s Daily Prescription 9/1: Should You Draft Cooper Kupp in Fantasy Football Following His Hamstring Setback?

Dr. Roto gives his take on the fantasy football impact of Cooper Kupp reportedly suffering a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury.

I have been down on Rams WR Cooper Kupp all draft season as the arrow on the entire Rams’ franchise seems to be pointing downward. Matthew Stafford is not gelling with his teammates, the defense has lost its best player in the secondary (Jalen Ramsey), and Kupp has been dealing with a hamstring injury all preseason.

On Thursday it came out that Kupp has suffered a setback with his hamstring recovery and immediately the fantasy world took notice. Kupp went from a mid-first-round pick on Wednesday to a mid-second-round pick in a draft I just did on Thursday night. People are panicking and with good reason. Kupp is in danger of missing time and with the Rams not expected to contend, he might see fewer snaps at the beginning of the season until he makes a complete recovery.

At this point, I have no shares of Kupp and I can’t see that changing anytime soon.
