Week 2 is behind us, and we are now on to Week 3. This has now become the beginning of the regular season when it comes to what is more predictable. Injuries have begun to significantly impact our teams, and navigating a quality lineup is the challenge at hand. Let’s take a look at the 3 teams we are following weekly.
Danger Family
I begin week 3 with a record of 4-0 in the #1 spot here; however, this week features an opponent that is also 4-0, which is currently in the #3 spot, not getting that important first-round bye. Fields got hurt, and since I only had 1 QB, I had to go to waivers and pick up Geno to be my one-week starter. I’m still sitting with a different combination of 5 bench RBs and still holding Addison on my bench to be ready to cover DK Metcalf bye week in week 5. I did shuffle my TE picking up Musgrave as Kraft got an injury this week; however, if he plays, I’ll pivot to another streaming option at TE for week 3. I’m still starting 4 RBs in my lineup this week, which is the strength of my team.
TFFL2
This team comes into week 3 with a 1-1 record, getting a win by just over 1 point, so variance isn’t much either week. I did pivot, dropping Mac Jones here as I anticipate Purdy starting this week, so I wanted to add Musgrave to my lineup without needing to drop Woody Marks, as I think he might be a player that I will need in the middle of the year to create a winning team. I will also look to drop Tyrod on Saturday afternoon once he can’t be used anymore to play this weekend, to pick up another player that I can begin to cover my team for the byes. While others were picking QBs on this team, I was able to get my waiver claim for Franklin and Marks.
Clown Head Redraft I
This team heads to week 3 with a 1-1 record, running into a buzz saw, which was a team scoring 300+ points. I’m in the #7 spot as the first team out of the playoffs, so a lot of work to do here. This team is built on balance at all positions, so it just needs to execute and get wins. No real moves to make here, but just play out the games.
