For the most part, week one went as planned. None of the top four teams lost, and the fifth-ranked team lost to Kansas City on the road, so there’s no real shame in that. The only HUUUUUUGE upset, which affected survivor pools all around the country, was Cincinnati inexplicably losing at home to the New England Patriots. New England was the biggest underdog on the board, at +7.5. They made a nice jump in this week’s power ranking…while Cincy plummeted out of the top 10.

Let’s get to it; here are this week’s power rankings heading into the week two and their movement up or down:

Kansas City Chiefs:

Can’t go up from no.1

San Fransisco 49ers:

Kansas City is blocking them from the top spot.

Detroit Lions:

Until the Niners or KC loses, this is where Detroit will stay.

Houston Texans:

This is one heck of a top four.

Buffalo Bills:

Up 2 spots…great matchup this week vs Miami

Philadelphia Eagles:

Up 3 spots…solid win against Green Bay

Baltimore Ravens:

Down 2 spots…No shame in losing to Kansas City

Miami Dolphins:

Up 3 spots…great matchup this week vs Buffalo

Dallas Cowboys:

Up 3 spots…Easily handled Cleveland’s top-ranked defense

Green Bay Packers:

Down 2 spots…May keep dropping without Jordan Love.

New York Jets:

Down 1 spot…Didn’t look good but it was on the road in SF.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

Up 6 spots…A little stretch, but five teams in front of them all lost.

Cincinnati Bengals:

Down 7 spots…Severe drop, but they lost to the Pats at home.

Los Angeles Rams:

Down 1 spot…Tough OT loss on the road in Detroit.

Jacksonville Jaguars:

Down 1 spot…Tough loss in Miami.

Atlanta Falcons:

Down 1 spot…They lost a very winnable game…Kirk Cousins awful

Indianapolis Colts:

Down 1 spot…Tough home loss to Houston

Los Angeles Chargers:

Up 2 spots…Solid first game for HC Jim Harbaugh

Chicago Bears:

Up 2 spots…The special teams and defense bailed out Caleb Williams.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

Up 2 spots…The Bucs offense looked really solid.

Seattle Seahawks:

Up 2 spots… Seahawks heading East to face off against the Pats

New Orleans Saints:

Up 2 spots…Most dominating win of the week, vs a JV team.

Minnesota Vikings:

Up 2 spots…Sam Darnold looked solid back in the Meadowlands.

New England Patriots:

Up 6 spots…Incredibly impressive and unexpected win.

Cleveland Browns:

Down 8 spots…Huge drop, deservedly so. Complete dud.

Washington Commanders:

Down 1 spot…Big matchup with the Giants this week.

Arizona Cardinals:

Down 1 spot…They could have walked out of Buffalo with a W.

Tennessee Titans:

Down 1 spot…Should have walked out of Chicago with a W.

Carolina Panthers:

Down 1 spot…These lower-tier teams are so bad.

Denver Broncos:

Down 1 spot…thankfully there are the Giants and Raiders.

New York Giants:

Another bad loss may drop them to the bottom.

Las Vegas Raiders:

Still the bottom of the heap
