Last week showed us why the UFC is one of the best fantasy sports to play, but also bet on. With two huge underdogs winning, it not only changed the face of the betting world but also DFS as well. However, this article was solid once again, and for this week’s UFC Shanghai, we have some massive dogs. The pricing has been great on the slates, though, so this week could be one of those weeks where we can take some chances on the slates. You’ll also want to remember to catch the Fight Club of Pain as well as the Soup Can of the Week for extra bets and DFS lineups. Alright Painbringers, it’s time to buckle up and bring the pain to the competition. Have a great day, everyone, and may the fights be with you.

Xiao Long vs. Suyoung You

Our first fight we’re covering this week is between Xiao Long and Suyoung You. This fight has distance written all over it, which has odds of -260 right now. I’ll also be parlaying You’s moneyline and distance, which combines for a +131because once You gets You-jit-su going, this match will be on the ground.

Yizha vs. Westin Wilson

Yizha is the biggest favorite this week because he’s facing the UFC’s doorstep in Westin Wilson. The distance is -1100, which will make us no money at all. Even Yizha’s knockout and submission is a -550, so he’s clearly a lock for DFS. Right now the under 1.5 rounds is a -132, which is what I’ll be hitting, giving us the best chance to cash.

Sumadaerji vs. Kevin Borjas

This next matchup is a close one which features Sumadaerji vs. Kevin Borjas. Both fighters are good strikers, with Sumadaerji being the more passive one. This is another fight that should go the distance, which is a -220 at the moment. Let’s parlay that up with the dog in this fight, Borjas, who should also win in significant strikes. You’ll get a +255 with that parlayed, and as of right now, with significant strikes not available yet.

Brian Ortega vs. Aljamain Sterling

Let’s have some fun with this next fight, which is the co-main event. Aljamain Sterling is a great striker who can simply destroy what’s left of Brian Ortega. So both knockout and submission are live for Sterling, which is +240 right now. Sterling’s distance and moneyline bet combines for a -10,6 which isn’t the best of odds, but we’ll do this fight as a hedge.

Johnny Walker vs. Zhang Mingyang

The main event in Shanghai is featuring the incumbent Johnny Walker, facing off against a killer in Zhang Mingyang. This fight is going to be over fast, and Zhang will be the one winning this one by knockout or submission, which is -310. The knockout prop for both fighters is -500 as well, but Zhang’s first-round knockout is a -110. So I’ll be playing three units on knockout for both, five units on knockout and submission for Zhang, and finishing this off with the first round knockout at two units.
