Top MLB Prop Picks 4/15

Corey Seager MORE Than 0.5 Runs

Seager is one of the best hitters in baseball and hits in one of the best lineups in baseball. That combination typically leads to a lot of runs scored. Seager already had 10 runs in 14 games this season and is batting .304 with a .400 OBP. He hasn’t hit for much power yet, with only one HR, but he has back-to-back years of 33 and should get close to that number again this season. He can drive himself in, or he can get on base and be driven in, and tonight he faces Reese Olson of the Tigers, who allowed six earned runs in his most recent start.

Luis Gil MORE Than 5.5 Strikeouts

Gil continues to impress in the early going this season. He hasn’t gone deep into games yet as he’s been working his way back from Tommy John surgery; however, he has blown hitters away with his repertoire of pitches. Gil has 14 Ks in his nine innings so far this year, and eight of those Ks came against the Blue Jays. He only threw 4.1 innings in that game, so if he can build his way up to five or more innings, there’s a good chance that he will reach six, if not more, Ks tonight.

Fernando Tatis Jr. MORE Than 0.5 Runs

He has seven runs in his past seven games and there are multiple reasons why you should like this prop anytime you can find it. Tatis Jr. hits for average, has a good OBP, can steal bases to get into scoring position, and bats second in a good Padres lineup, which will lead to him being driven in often. He also has big-time power and can drive himself in.

Bobby Witt Jr. MORE Than 1.5 Total Bases

Witt and the Royals have a great matchup tonight against Nick Nastrini and the White Sox. The White Sox are the worst team in baseball, and Nastrini is making the first start of his MLB career. Witt is an early MVP candidate with his hot start at the plate. He has 13 extra-base hits in 16 games so far and needs only one XBH today to win this prop. Of course, two singles would work as well, and he is getting a hit in 33% of his at-bats this season.
