Top MLB Prop Picks 4/3

Lance Lynn MORE Than 5.5 Strikeouts

Lynn struck out five Dodgers in his first start this season and gets a much better matchup today against a winless Marlins team that has struggled offensively. In the Marlins’ past two games, they have struck out 12 times against opposing starters, and Lynn is a more accomplished strikeout pitcher than either pitcher the Marlins faced. Even when Lynn struggles with his ERA and WHIP, the strikeouts are always there.

Bobby Witt Jr. MORE Than 1.5 Total Bases

Witt Jr. has at least one hit in all but one game so far this season and already has four games with multiple hits. He has elite power and racks up plenty of extra-base hits because of his elite speed, so he can reach two total bases with just one hit, rather than needing multiple hits. He also has a good matchup today against White Sox pitcher Mike Soroka, who allowed seven hits in his first start this season and has barely pitched in the big leagues over the past few seasons.

Francisco Lindor MORE than 1.5 Total Bases

Lindor has been dreadful at the plate so far this season, with only one hit in 16 AB. That translates to a .063 batting average, and although it’s early in the season, it is well below expectations for a star like Lindor. He is going to get it rolling any day now, and with the past two days off due to inclement weather, he has had a chance to work on his mechanics and get right. Today will be the day he turns things around in a matchup against Tigers SP Casey Mize.
