1. Houston — The clear class of the league, but still have questions to answer if their style can win in March

2. Texas Tech — Grant McCasland is doing an outstanding job.

3. Arizona — Will we get good Caleb Love or bad Caleb Love in the month of March?

4. BYU — Trending upwards fast

5. Iowa State — I’m not convinced they’re fully healthy

6. Kansas — It’s a great commentary on the program that this is the worst season they’ve had in 20 years

7.Baylor — Just barely hanging on

8. Cincinnati — Probably want to win a few games next week to secure an NCAA Tournament bid.

9. West Virginia — I expect them to have a very short stay in the NCAA Tournament.

10. Utah — If this team were better at free throw shooting, Craig Smith might still have a job

11. TCU — Fighting til the very end

12. UCF — Going to be an interesting offseason

13. Kansas State — Not counting them out for a Big 12 tourney run

14. Oklahoma State — Going to be an interesting offseason

15. Colorado — Have to go find some offense in the portal

16. Arizona State — Limping to the finish.
