MLB: First Basemen Power Rankings

The 2025 MLB All-Star Game is nearly three weeks away, and voting is underway. This year’s All-Star game could feature more first-time All-Stars than previous seasons. There is still time for players to state their cases, and below are the 2025 Week 14 top 10 power rankings for first basemen.

1. Pete Alonso, New York Mets

Alonso is slashing .291/.386/.565 and leads MLB first basemen with 18 home runs and 64 RBI.

2. Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles Dodgers

Freeman continues to rake, slashing .328/.398/.535 with nine home runs and 41 RBI.

3. Matt Olson, Atlanta Braves

Over the past month, Olson has a .901 OPS with five home runs and 23 RBI.

4. Spencer Torkelson, Detroit Tigers

Torkelson’s breakout season continues, now totaling 16 home runs and 48 RBI.

5. Jonathan Aranda, Tampa Bay Rays

Aranda has a .326/.414/.490 slash line with eight home runs and 41 RBI.

6. Vinnie Pasquantino, Kansas City Royals

Over the past month, Pasquantino has a .931 OPS with three home runs and 12 RBI.

7. Paul Goldschmidt, New York Yankees

Goldschmidt has 82 hits, eight home runs, and 32 RBI.

8. Josh Naylor, Arizona Diamondbacks

Naylor is slashing .302/.356/.466 with nine home runs, 49 RBI, and leads MLB first basemen with 85 hits.

9. Tyler Soderstrom, Athletics

Soderstrom has 14 home runs and 45 RBI.

On the season, Guerrero Jr. has nine home runs and 38 RBI.
