The 2025 season is heating up, with many players stating their case on their respective league’s All-Star rosters. Below is a breakdown of Week 9’s top 10 starting pitchers:

1. Tarik Skubal, Detroit Tigers

Skubal has made nine starts, posting a 2.67 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and 71 strikeouts in 54 innings.

2. Hunter Brown, Houston Astros

Houston’s ace has a 1.43 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 67 strikeouts in 56.2 innings.

3. Hunter Greene, Cincinnati Reds

On the IL with a groin injury, Greene has a 2.36 ERA, 0.81 WHIP, and 61 strikeouts in 45.2 innings (8 GS).

Wheeler continues to dominate, posting a 2.67 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and 80 strikeouts in 64 innings.

5. Nathan Eovaldi, Texas Rangers

The Rangers’ starting pitcher has a 1.61 ERA, league-leading 0.77 WHIP, and 65 strikeouts in 61.1 innings.

6. Joe Ryan, Minnesota Twins

Ryan has dominated over the last two weeks, bringing his season totals to a 2.42 ERA, 0.79 WHIP, and 63 strikeouts in 52 innings.

7. Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Los Angeles Dodgers

Yamamoto continues to lead Los Angeles’s rotation with a 2.12 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 59 strikeouts in 51 innings.

8. Max Fried, New York Yankees

Fried owns a perfect record (6-0), posting a 1.11 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and 52 strikeouts in 56.2 innings.

9. Jacob deGrom, Texas Rangers

10. Carlos Rodon, New York Yankees
