Two Minute Drill

  • Rain showers and heavy winds are expected in the Patriots vs. Jets game. Zach Wilson has a career 50.94% completion percentage with seven INTs in four games against Bill Belichick’s defense. The Jets will keep the ball on the ground as much as possible with Dalvin Cook and Breece Hall to limit Wilson’s mistakes. In 2021, the Patriots defeated the Bills with Mac Jones only attempting three passes the entire game with the poor weather conditions. Jones will throw the ball much more than that, but New England will get Rhamondre Stevenson and Ezekiel Elliott heavily involved with today’s weather.
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown is currently listed as questionable with turf toe. There is a high likelihood he could play, but the turf toe could keep him limited if he does suit up. This would  allow Josh Reynolds to take on a bigger role. Reynolds has looked more than serviceable this season with two TDs, 146 receiving yards and nine receptions. Even if St. Brown is active, Reynolds should have a great game.
  • RB Aaron Jones and WR Christian Watson are inactive for the Packers again. With both players out last week, AJ Dillon was the workhorse back with 55 rushing yards on 15 carries. Dontayvion Wicks had 40 receiving yards and a TD on two catches. Jayden Reed finished behind him with four receptions for 37 receiving yards and two TDs. You can expect those guys to step up again today.
